More than 155 years of the Europaeischer Hof Heidelberg: Fritz and Luise Gabler turned the hotel into one of the leading Grand Hotels in Germany. Ernst-Friedrich von Kretschmann, their grandson, and his wife Sylvia ran the hotel for over 55 years. Under their management, it was possible to preserve the Europaeischer Hof as one of the few privately run 5-star city hotels and to expand it immensely, even during the many periods of economic instability. Now the fourth generation, daughter Dr. Caroline von Kretschmann, has taken over. The story continues. And this hotel truly has been through a lot of stories and history!
